ABOUT DANI

Daniela Brigatti is a writer and Philosophy student at the University of Chicago. She writes short stories and philosophical essays on topics including Ethics, Metaphysics, Epistemology, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Mind, and Philosophy of Science. Her interpretive writing focuses mainly on Ancient Philosophy and German Idealism.

PHILOSOPHY

As a trilingual first-generation American, Dani has always been most fascinated by the categories and concepts we use to construct our identities and realities. After beginning to write short fiction as a teenager in order to explore her deepest questions, her insatiable curiosity led her to pursue an undergraduate degree in Philosophy where she discovered a passion for philosophical writing and interpretive work. She is now a Chicago-based writer and thinker pursuing a Masters Degree in the Humanities.

“Some kind of fictionalizing will always occur in nonfiction just as reality will always make its way into fiction. In other words, there is no genre of writing that is free from either objective reality or subjective truth.”
